Miles is not into Modeling + A Big Blogging Giveaway

One little guy, Miles had some "milestones" happen yesterday.

Turning two weeks old yesterday he experienced the following...

Waiting for Daddy at the Dentist, where I have been going for years. All the staff excitedly came out (including our Dentist) instead of attending to their patients first… oops.
His first Restaurant outing. Greek food (so I could have a big fat Greek Salad, naturally). He slept through the whole experience of loud waiters, doors swinging and plastic glasses slamming against the tables.
His Umbilical Cord Stump came off, I said “What am I suppose to do with this?” and our photographer responded “Some people put in a glass vital around their neck and wear it if you’re into that.” LOL. Not me (not that I'm knocking anyone for doing that, go ahead with your confident self)!

Notice how I said, "our photographer" above. Another first...Miles had his first professional Photo shoot yesterday. I'd like to tell you he didn't do anything embarrassing but I would be lying. You see, we showed up to the Photographer's beautiful private studio and Miles was knocked out asleep. The photographer was super excited about this...immediately Miles woke up when he tried to swaddle Miles in a blanket and place him in a wire basket. This wasn't the embarrassing part though, while awake here he completely behaved. It's when the photographer was setting up for the next part...

So he was setting up a still life scene along with a crate that had a chalkboard which I had written Miles on. It also has a wooden barn backdrop and some burlap (maybe you get the gist). My mom was helping him as I sat across the room with my husband. He immediately slips off Mile's diaper to try to get a cute shot with his little bum up in the air on the crate.... NOPE. NOT HAPPENING. Miles starts pooping everywhere....

Husband: "Told ya, I called it!"
Mom: Laughing. Probably telling Miles it's okay and apologizing to the Photographer.
Me: I am hysterically laughing to the point of tears. After controlling this, I apologize and the photographer is super nice and saying this is what washing machines are for.

...and then after they clean up the mess. Miles projectile pees all over the crate, again.

It was at this point the photographer declared Miles was not into this, so it was time to move on to the next part. Miles then happily slept like an angel and posed for super cute nudies on an ottoman with a mint green backdrop.

I guess I can't say I'm surprised that Miles wasn't having his first photo shoot. He is an infant after all and this is what happens when you try to document him smiling...

There you have it, world. Miles definitely doesn't want to be a professional model and I'm totally okay with that. I would make a terrible stage mom anyway.
